2009 NBA MVP LeBron James

Witness another pounding season, LeBron James recently won the NBA MVP yesterday at the Cleveland, Ohio.

He won the MVP over contenders Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Dwight Howard, and Chris Paul. He recieved a total of 1,172 media votes. And he also got 109 out of 121 votes to beat defending MVP Kobe Bryant to win the MVP.

He said in an interview that there’s no place like home. The 24-year old NBA player grew up in Ohio, having played there from his early days until his domination with the Cavs. His mother Gloria said that she is really proud of her son.

LBJ, who turned pro in 2003 out of HS, averaged 28.4 ppg, 7.6 rebs, 1.7 spg, and 7.2 apg. He was the first overall pick of the 2003 NBA Draft.

Congratulations to him and let’s witness his journey until the NBA finals.
