THE 2009 BASKETBALL HOF INDUCTEES

THE 2009 BASKETBALL HOF INDUCTEES

September 10, 2009 was defintiely a day to remember, especially to all basketball aficionados all around the world, as 5 people who made their best in the Basketball scene were honored in this grand appreciation for themselves. This is how Basketball Hall of Hame is described this year. With more than five hundred people witnessing it in Springfield and more than million watching it.

The 2009 inductees are Basketball players John Stockton, David Robinson, and Michael Jordan along with Basketball coaches Jerry Sloan and C. Vivian Stringer. One of them had their own inductees, as David Thompson has Michael Jordan. To begin with the ceremony, Basketball analyst Pete Vescey had his own welcome remarks and even uttered some exclamatory sentences to make it livelier. Some had their serious speeches, especially for Michael Jordan, who even cried after being appreciated by everyone, which includes his former teammates in Chicago Bulls with the likes of Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoc, and Dennis Rodman. But on the lighter side, John Stockton had his own share of funny memories, and he even insisted that some people in his hometown went to the ceremony just to see Michael Jordan, who was known by many as the greatest basketball player ever lived, without a doubt.

Again, congratulations to them and they really deserve it.

by JA Conde

Yeah! This blog is already on it’s first year! Ever since the blog created, it has evolved, from an upstart blog on Basketball’s latest scene to a must-read blog today! You got it, from Inside the Court to On Court, Off Court, that’s how I speak my game. I write to show freedom. And I would like to thank my sportwriting influences such as this guy and my former classmate, who did not stop supporting me from writing, and I have evolved.

End.

LATE UPDATE: INC LEADER DIES AT 86

Ka Eraño Manalo seems to be one of the most popular religous leaders, and he has recently died last Monday due to cardiopumonary arrest.

Manalo, now 84, was born durig the time Iglesia ni Cristo (or the Church of Christ) was created, as he later took over the leading ministry, as his father, Bro. Felix Manalo died in 1963. His son, Eduardo is about to take over his leadership duties.

He will be always remembered by most Iglesia ni Cristo people.
