NOW THIS WAS 2009 TO ME:

A big year.

Many things has happened.

But this was happy for most.

Lives were improved.

People began to be sober.

THIS WAS GOOD!

HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN!

Here’s one song for ya:

SEASON’S GREETINGS!

l.ast year, we’ve only sent you an image

But this year will be different, as I pay tribute to the Yuletide season

I CREATED THIS!

THE YULETIDE ACCORDING TO JUAN DELA CRUZ

by Jose Antonio A. Conde

I.

Yuletide, O, yuletide! What is that?

It is a joyful season celebrated every December

Families gather always as if a traditional reunion

And this the best season to remember!

II.

Oh yeah! This is also the happiest season for young kids

Here we feel happy everytime we receive and give gifts to others

And this is the time of the year we should appreciate and thank people for remembering us

So how do Filipinos celebrate this?

III.

Bright decorations like parol, exchanging of gifts, Noche Buena,

Reunions, Christmas carols and the unforgettable tradition of the Simbang Gabi

Now that’s the real Yuletide season according to Juan dela Cruz

As there is no reason to worry at

IV.

And lastly, this is the season where Christ was born

And at the same time, we celebrate Yuletide season in our homes

My goodness! This is how Yuletide season in the Philippines is!

A season of joy and smiles for every Filipinos

Right Juan?

ATENEO KOs FEU FOR PCCL TITLE

For three straight years, Ateneo Blue Eagles has been wanting to get back this PCCL title as they recently knocked out the FEU Tamaraws, with the score of 70-74 moments ago at the Ynares Sports Arena.

Ateneo started the game like they’re about to win it, as they even led the game by 16 pts., but FEU bounced back as they even led the game by 3 midway in the final period, but the crucial plays of Jai Reyes and Oping Sumalinog made them return to competitiveness as they proved that they’re the best collegiate team in the Philippines. Apparently, in one part of the game, Reil Cervantes of FEU kicked the ball after recieving a turnover, as he was fouled out of the game after.

This is Ateneo’s third PCCL finals appearance, as they won the 2007 and 2009 crowns respectively, only to lose in 2008 to La Salle led by JV Casio.

And as for the annual awards, here’s the complete list:
Referee of the Year: Gamboa of PBL
Coach of the Year: Norman Black, Ateneo
Mythical 5:
Alderich Ramos and RR Garcia, FEU
Eric Salamat and Jai Reyes, ADMU
and Bambam Gamalinda of SBC

Most Valuable Player: Jai Reyes, ADMU

Congrats ADMU!

THE ANSWER IS BACK!

Last week, we mede a report on Iverson’s retirement citing that he can still play again, and today, it really happened as he is about to play again for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Here he’ll sign a year contract as he takes over the starting guard position. Even at this age, he can still do this, as his new coach, Eddie Jordan compares him to Brett Favre, a football great who even won an MVP despite his career was already beginning to dwindle.

In an interview, he said that the fans in Philly are really exciting and makes his day happy, while insisting that his carrer after Philly was bad. He even cried as he showed that he was really a son of Philly.

Good thing 76ers gave him a chance, as he is expected to play Monday night (Tuesday morning in Manila) versus OKC Thunder.
